Organizing Move Contents
When preparing for a
move, always try to group your items in a way that will make it easier to
unpack. For an office move, for instance, be sure to put any files you will
need immediate access to at the top of the box or moving crate,
and use post-it’s to clearly label the box with its specific
contents. Using a Post-it or piece of paper to label will allow you to reuse
the box or crate without having old information which may be confusing on the
next move. For a home move, keep items for each room in separate boxes, and try
to avoid the dreaded “Random” box–these boxes are almost always the
last to be unpacked and can be daunting, though they seem like a good idea at
the time!
