CMCI Website Calendar

At Corporate Move Consulting Inc. (CMCI), we believe in staying connected with the professional organizations that help shape the construction, real estate and design industries. To do our part in staying connected with the CoreNet Global, International Interior Design Association (IIDA), International Facility Management Association (IFMA), American Institute of Architects (AIA), and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) organizations, we have created a website calendar dedicated to their social events.

Our calendar is designed to be comprehensive and easy to use, just like us. We have compiled a comprehensive list of social events for each organization, making it easy for you to find what you’re looking for. Each listing includes the date and time, location, event type, and contact information. You can easily search for different events or browse through all events with the “list” button.

We have brought all current and future events together from each of the organizations to one place for ease of access. Finding events for a specific organization is easy, as we place the group’s name at the beginning of each event. This is designed to keep clients and website visitors up-to-date on upcoming events and connects our clients with the organizations.

Our calendar also provides a way to share the desired event on a platform of your choice. Our website visitors can share events on their personal social media accounts for others to view and inquire about. This is a great way to network with other industry professionals and stay informed about what’s happening in each industry.

As previously mentioned, our calendar features CoreNet, IIDA, IFMA, AIA, and CREW. Each of these organizations are equally unique as their members, having great values that impact the professional communities around them.

CoreNet Global

CoreNet Global for instance is a “non-profit association, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia (US), representing nearly 10,000 members in 50 countries with strategic responsibility for the real estate assets of large corporations.” CoreNet’s mission is “to advance the practice of corporate real estate through professional development opportunities, publications, research, conferences, and chapters and networking groups.”

CoreNet’s Houston Chapter connects professionals, consumers and service providers to advance knowledge and aide in personal growth. The Chapter hosts events every month in person at various locations and is currently accepting new members. Read more about CoreNet on its website.

IIDA

IIDA “is the commercial interior design association with global reach. We support design professionals, industry affiliates, educators, students, firms, and their clients through our network of 15,000+ members across 58 countries.” IIDA Texas/ Oklahoma Chapter’s “vision is to support culture, enhance business value, solve problems, and positively impact the health and wellbeing of people’s lives through a greater understanding of interior design.” The IIDA website has numerous resources for members and information for those seeking membership.

AIA

Next up is AIA . The organization maintains values and standards that work toward the greater good of the people that benefit each day from the built environment. AIA advocates for the value of architecture and gives architects the resources they need to do their best work.

AIA Houston “is a community of architects coming together to accomplish in our practices and in our region that which no single architect can do alone”. The Houston Chapter offers numerous events to get acquainted with the City of Houston and offers membership to those interested. Some events include tours of the architectural elements of the city, seminars, continuing education and more.

IFMA

Another organization, IFMA or International Facility Management Association provides its members with resources and connections to facility management professionals. The organization is committed to helping its members advance both personally and professionally. There are over 100 chapters across the United States and globe.

The Houston Chapter of IFMA in particular seeks to improve the lives of facility managers and the facility management community by providing meaningful and educational programming.” Find out more about IFMA on its website.

CREW Network

Lastly, CREW Network is dedicated to transforming the commercial real estate industry by advancing women globally. The organization has meetings multiple times a month that feature inclusive and exclusive events. “The convention is a platform for commercial real estate professionals from all over the world to network, make new contacts and connect with future business partners.”

CREW Houston was established to “connect professionals to real estate professionals across all geographies and disciplines”. The chapter creates an environment that promotes advancement through knowledge sharing and networking.

At CMCI, we believe in staying connected with the professional organizations and their social events. Our website calendar and blog are designed to help our visitors and clients stay connected and informed about the organizations and their events. We hope that visitors find the calendar and blog helpful and informative.
