Julie Kinzelman established Kinzelman Art Consulting in 2001 recognizing the need to provide comprehensive art management services to a growing clientele in the state of Texas. Prior to establishing her company, Julie was a Partner at an art advisory firm where she managed two offices and multiple large-scale corporate art collections for six years. Julie has extensive experience in amassing and managing art collections, site-specific commissions and is deeply enmeshed in the art market. Throughout her 25 year career, Julie has been responsible for managing collections for private collectors and Fortune 100 and SOO companies. Julie has lectured about such topics as the value of art within public spaces, diversi9ing an arts practice, the health of the contemporary art market and the history of art consulting. Julie has served as the president of the board of directors of Glasstire, an online magazine covering visual arts in Texas and California and has also served on the board of directors for The American Institute of Architects (AA). She has served as Vice President of the board of directors for the Houston Center for Photography and as the Regional Chair of ArtTable Inc., a national organization for women leaders in the visual arts. Julie completed the Certificate Program in Appraisal Studies at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISC)) and a Member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) since 2009.
